Sheridan, WYO (October 13, 2017) – The Whitney Center for the Arts welcomes artist Saegan Moran for the opening of her new exhibition: Isolated Wonder. Moran will work with Sheridan College students throughout the day on October 19, leading up to an artist talk at 4pm and opening reception from 5-7pm. The Eric Richards Jazz Quartet will provide music for the opening reception. Both the artist talk and opening reception are free and open to the public.
Saegan Moran is a printmaking and installation artist who received her MFA from the University of Georgia. Moran’s newest works explore themes of curiosity, seduction and desire through the interaction of prints, modified found objects and sculpture. A complete artist statement is available here.
Isolated Wonder is on view October 19 – November 12 in the Edward A. Whitney Gallery at the Whitney Center for the Arts at Sheridan College (3059 Coffeen Avenue, Sheridan, WY). Everyone is encouraged to attend to meet Moran, hear her speak firsthand about her work, and enjoy the first viewing of this new exhibition.
